ABOUT US

“Governments can regulate, environmentalists can agitate, only industries can innovate.”

We connect innovation and expertise to drive sustainable change. As the world pushes for sustainable development, India and its farmers, the backbone of the economy, must not be left behind.
Global market rules are changing rapidly, particularly with the introduction of new Indian and European sustainability standards. This means that, in order to retain access to foreign markets, which are a vital source of income for India’s agricultural economy, the country will need to rethink old practices and overhaul its production systems. Yet most farmers and agri-industries remain unaware and unprepared.
Sustainable Alternatives works to bridge this gap. We focus on research and communication to help Indian farmers and agri-industries adopt safer, more sustainable technologies that protect the environment while securing their future in global markets.
